About Us

Friends since elementary school and high school sweet hearts, the Smith family behind Elysium Aesthetics and Wellness began by welcoming their son Kyedin while Joe, our CEO, was serving in the Marine Corps. With service to others being a guiding principle in their lives, Joe entered law enforcement and became a detective specializing in crimes against children. Amanda became a nurse specializing in neurological critical care before becoming a nurse practitioner.  Once Amanda became a nurse practitioner she discovered a passion in a more uplifting and preventative field. Amanda decided to enter Aesthetics and wellness where this quickly became a home for her. Both  Amanda and Joe have taken active roles in a number of non-profit 501(c)(3) charities ranging from supporting children with autism and veteran mental health awareness. Their commitment to service has led them to create Elysium, where health and wellness therapy is made easy and accessible to all members of their community.
